Angela & Ryan

Introducing Angela and Ryan Pfannkuch!!

I had the pleasure of photographing this couples engagement pictures as well. What a wild day that was!! Angela & Ryan are both meteorologists, and their engagement session was befitting of their occupation :). The weather that day was looking pretty gloomy, so I contacted them to see it they wanted to postpone. Our schedules weren't matching up, so we decided to go ahead with the engagement session and hope for the best! When they pulled up, there was a pretty mean storm brewing nearby, the clouds were rumbling and dark. About 20 minutes later we were just getting into the swing of things when it started sprinkling, so we headed inside. As soon as we stepped through the door, it began to pour! So much for outdoor pictures!

About 20 minutes later, we peeked outside and to my absolute joy, the rain had subsided and we had these massive cumulous clouds — unlike anything I had ever seen.

What a perfect engagement session for two wonderful people in love (who happen to be meteorologists).

We had no rain on the wedding day. It was a hot summer's day, and everything went according to plan. Angela & Ryan were married in this beautiful little church with the sunlight that came down through the skylight and lit up them up. This couple is so in love, it was tangible. The best man said it right when during the toasts he said (and I'm paraphrasing!) "their love story gives me hope that true love really does exist."

I also loved how the moms and aunts and family members were all on the dance floor! It was so much fun to photograph!

Angela and Ryan, you are such a sweet couple, I have really enjoyed working with you throughout the entire process of engagement pictures to invitation and program designing. Thanks for letting me be a part of your wedding day!

Here are some bits and pieces from the day, some of my favorite images:
