Fall is here!
The leaves in our backyard ARE falling, people!
Just off of one tree though...;)
How do I know Fall has arrived? Because the ocean is no longer flat as glass, the waves have begun! Here's a little video of a wave at Waimea last weekened. Big waves also means every morning when I wake up, my floor and walls will be wet with salt water because #beachhouse #hawaiiproblems #ohwellweloveitanyway
It's a little cooler weather here, taking the edge off of the summer heat. We have been buying up all of the pumpkin beer and pumpkin chai's and eating chili and cornbread because pumpkin is one of our favorite flavors and soup is my favorite food, and it's technically the fall (even if it really doesn't feel like it). We've decorated our house with pumpkins and cinnamon scented candles. Haha. It's been fun, but I will admit I do miss fall in Nebraska, it has always been my favorite season. That chill in the air feels so good!
I will never miss Nebraska winters though. That is a fact. Hawaii winters are dreamy :)
We did go to a pumpkin patch! It was so fun! Here are two photos.
