Welcome to the world, Sadie Rose!

Being a part of this babies life was really special for me. Her parents, Evelyn + Austin, were a part of my bible study and I got to be a part of praying for Sadie Rose from the very beginning!

We got to go visit them all at Castle the next day and I snapped these Fresh 48 images. The excitement and happiness were so tangible in the room you.

Sadie's journey has been well documented. Take a look at their maternity session at Ka'ena point, and also her newborn family session which took place a few weeks later when ALL of the Grandparents could be involved.

Packed Full of Memories

To me this image is so packed with memories. #1. It's just a day after Evelyn became a new mom and she's holding her sweet precious baby girl, and totally in love. #2. The details in this photo scream out at me. I love the feminine floral robe Evelyn chose to wear, it's sweet and feminine and is totally her. #3. The sense of place is evident. Sadie Rose was born in HAWAII, and she has this picture to prove it! Did you see the stunning Ko'olau mountain range in the background?

Melts My Heart

These two pictures melt my heart. The image on the left totally takes me back to the photo I have of my dad holding me when I was a newborn. I love seeing how young and handsome my dad was then (and still is, for the record! ;) and I can only imagine Sadie looking at this picture 20 years from now and thinking the same things. The image on the right has a backstory, Austin is a swaddling KING, so I've heard. I had to capture that photo for him!
